Turning Forbes journalism into interactive AI products

Product direction & developmentDiscovery & idea validation

The context

Forbes approached us because they wanted a technical partner who could help bring creative content ideas to life. We brainstormed with their team, explored how readers could get more value from Forbes’ journalism, and narrowed the ideas down to two we wanted to pursue: a personal money coach and a personalized story feed. From there, we moved into defining and building both products together.

What I took on

  1. Explore ideas with the Forbes team and identify potential business use cases.
  2. Define the value for readers and agree on the KPIs we wanted to target.
  3. Translate the selected ideas into product decisions and build Money Coach and Blinks.
  4. Launch both products for Forbes readers.

The work

Before development, we shaped the ideas together and presented the potential business use cases for each product. We defined what value they could deliver to Forbes readers and agreed on the KPIs we wanted to target. I then translated that direction into working products, handling the product and technical decisions through development and launch. Both Money Coach and Blinks launched for Forbes.

Forbes Money Coach

Launched for Forbes

I built an AI money coach around Forbes Money’s editorial content. It was designed to help readers explore financial questions through conversation, with answers grounded in the magazine’s articles and Slovak context. Source citations connected the conversation back to the original journalism.

From shared ideas to launched products

Together with the Forbes team, we took two ideas from the first brainstorm through to launch. My role connected the business use case, the value for readers, and the technical work needed to make each product real. Forbes brought the editorial expertise; I helped turn it into experiences readers could use.
